Project 7 - Video Part 1

For this project, the only guidelines were to create a 25 second video where any single shot was no more than 5 seconds long. My first idea was to have a series of 1-second shots that focused on flat surfaces around campus that were mainly a solid color or had interesting geometric lines. However, as I started walking around campus, my attention was captured with more organic forms and aspects of nature. My final video features clips in chronological/geographical order from when I walked from Adams up past the library to Kerrwood and across the lawn. I chose to remove the original audio from the clips and add instrumental background music from the song Blue Bucket of Gold by Sufjan Stevens. I specifically synchronized the clips to the beat of the music.
